What is the expertise ranking?
Products listed on our Marketplace are developed by PrestaShop and our community of developers. To help you pick the right module based on your needs, we set up an expertise ranking system.
A level of expertise is assigned to each developer according to his/her seniority, product quality, and the help provided to merchants. The expertise ranking has 4 levels made to represent your capabilities.

A high level of expertise on our marketplace indicates that the developer whom you buy a module or a template provides good products and quality support. The level of each developer is based on four criteria:
- His/her seniority
- The average rating of all of his/her products (customers ratings)
- The total number of positive ratings (greater than or equal to 4 stars)
- The quality of his support (response time and quality)
