Overview

This module allows you to restrict the payment method depending on your customer's credit balances (outstanding). These can order and send their payment several days later.

What this product does for you

This add-on enables customers to pay for their purchases directly on your shop using their amount of credit verification system (current outstanding), very useful to:
  • Facilitate B2B commerce for customers, indeed, dealers (customers) don't have to pay you directly on your shop to purchase their products but just using their outstanding to do. Real payments can be done later (by cheque, banckwire, etc.)
  • Manage a shop for dealers,
  • Manage partial payments of your regular customers.
Once a customer with outstanding allowance buys from your shop, it appears on the module page. This enables you to get an overview of your current outstanding invoices. Meaning the amount of money you are allowing them to buy your products before they have to actually pay you.

Features

I- FrontOffice:
  • Create a new payment method called "Pay using my outstanding" with Multi-currencies support,
  • Give customers the ability to view their credit status (Maximum outstanding, current, payments due and Maximum number of payment days),
  • Also provide customers the ability to view and track step by step their orders placed on shop depending on their credit balance. Thus, they can follow the planned payment date of outstanding, the partial amount paid, payment status (In preparation, Sent, Delivered, etc.), generating invoices
  • Make available a form secured by a captcha letting your customers to request credits and increase thus their outstandings.
  • Multi-shops.

II- BackOffice:
  • Customers Account Management: This page allows you to get an overview of your current outstanding invoices, like: Allowed outstanding amount, Current outstanding, The remaining outstanding, Total paid and Total expected,
  • Set for each customer B2B the following fields: "Company", "Allowed outstanding", "Maximum number of payment days" and "Risk rating".
  • Ability to send an email to customer to inform him about his current outstanding.
  • Once a customer with outstanding allowance buys from your shop, it appears in the Credit Check Payments Outstanding page. So, you can:
+ Filter or sort the outstanding using multi-criterias;
+ View order details;
+ Manage partial payments already made by customers;
+ Update directly order status to "Payment accepted" status;
+ Check the paid amount, the expected amount, generate an invoice.
  • Manage Credits Requests: Approuve/decline credits requests sent by customers from your shop.

III- Configuration:
  • Maximum number of payment days (by default or per customer).
  • Ability to choose which order status to use to calculate the final payment date.
  • Send automatically to customer an email containing the "Payment Date" not to be exceeded to incite him to pay his order.
  • Hide the payment method when the authorized outstanding amount is not set yet or equal to 0.
  • Display the remaining amount of credits in the nav bar.
  • Credits Request Settings.
