Canonical URLs.
When a product, or page in general, has several versions of the same page, for example, a product with multiple colors, Prestashop needs one url per color. Google, when detecting urls, indexes them as different urls, with duplicate content, which makes positioning worse. With the CANONICAL attribute we indicate to Google that it is the same product with different colors, and does not consider it as repeated urls.
The hrflag.
When we have several languages in our store, the same thing happens with multiple combinations of products. Google believes that there are several different urls with duplicate content. By correctly indicating the hrflag attribute, we are telling Google, which is the same page in different languages. What he considers as positive and improves positioning.
