This section will guide you for the installation of the plugin. For more information, download our plugin installation tutorial.
Installation of the Dropy plugin :
Once you have purchased the Dropy plugin, go to Prestashop -> Modules & Services.In the plugin list, look for the Dropy plugin and click on Install.
If the plugin doesn't appear and you have download it in .zip format on Prestashop Addons, click on Add a plugin in the top right corner of the Modules & Services page.Selects the file .zip et click on load plugin. Then, click on Configure.
Before to start the plugin configuration on Prestashop, you have to register to the Dropy API.
Registration on the Dropy API : (Step before the configuration of the plugin, except Prestashop)
First sign up on our API : https://app.dropy.com. Then call us at 09 70 73 54 09 so that we can validate your account. And to make it easier for us, please don’t forget to fill in all fields that we activate your account quickly.
Plugin configuration :
Now, you can continue the installation with the configuration of the Dropy plugin in Prestashop.
This step allows you to connect your Prestashop website to the Dropy API thanks to a login and a password.
Leave the field "Dropy application field URL" empty.User Token = Module IDPassword = secret code of the module
To get the login and the password module : Once you are logged to your Dropy interface at https://app.dropy.com, go to the Code Module tab : you will find here the ID and the secret code of the module. Click Save.
Calculation of Margins and Prices :
Here you can choose the way to round your prices. You will be able to apply prices on the API when products will be added to Dropy. This step is mainly for suppliers.
Taxes Management :
This step allows you to link Prestashop taxes with Dropy taxes. By default, taxes are automatically associated.
Product Categories :
This step allows you to associate your Prestashop categories with the categories present on Dropy. If categories (or subcategories) are not linked, the products you import may not appear in your back office.
Order Status :
You can match your order status with Dropy one’s. The fields are prefilled by default. Some order statuses do not exist on Prestashop, the module creates them for you.
Here you can associate your carriers with Dropy one’s.
Scheduled Tasks :
By default, scheduled tasks (also called CRON jobs) are launched by the plugin to your server at regular intervals (every 30 minutes for the most part) to update some informations, like prices, stocks and orders. For some hosting providers (like OVH), CRON tasks are not installed automatically, and need to be configured directly in the hosting interface.
