About API Caching: you can see the picture which shows result of a stress test that we did on a test server with 1 core CPU and 3GB Ram.
This experiment includes calling different APIs (including bootstrap, category API with different category IDs) concurrently. It tested with 100 threads that call APIs concurrently to stress test the server.
If you look at the chart, there is an important metric which is throughput. Throughput is the number of requests that server can handle in a minute, and the higher value is better. In this experiment the throughput value is 533 which is reasonable for this server. We ran the experiment multiple times and the result was same.
