How duplicate images are created?
Duplicate images are usually created after importing products. If the import module does not check if the image being imported already added to the product, then the same image will be added to the product again creating a duplicate image.
How to check if my shop has duplicate images?
If you have duplicate images, it will be visible on the product page both in back-end and front-end. You will notice that some images of products appear more than once.
What is the difference between redundant images and duplicate images?
Redundant images are images not needed and not used anywhere in your shop, because they are not linked to any product. Whereas duplicate images are linked to products and they exist in your shop just like normal images and you can view duplicate images on product pages just like normal images. The problem with duplicate images is that they are uploaded more than once to the same product.

Installatie
- On the modules page, click on "Add a new module" button.
- Choose the module file and click on "Upload this module".
- If the installation is successful, you will see a success message.
- The module will then appear in your list of modules under Modules List.
- If configuration note appears, click on "Configure" button to configure it.
- Click “CLEAR DUPLICATE IMAGES” button to start the process.
- That is it! You will get rid of those repeating images from your shop.
