Necessary update of your password on PrestaShop Addons

You are currently the holder of an Addons account created from your Paypal account, which allows you to connect to our marketplace.

In order to increase security and simplicity, we are implementing a single authentication system. Therefore, signing in with PayPal won’t be possible on our marketplace, from April 2nd on. Read morearrow_right_alt

To continue to access your personal space on PrestaShop Addons, we simply invite you to reset your password as of now by clicking on the link below.

You will receive a new password allowing you to directly sign in to your Addons account, without using PayPal. Once logged in, you will be able to change this password in your personal space.

Your Addons account will not be affected in any way by this development.

Your printing solution will receive orders and automatically print your picklist and shipping labels.
It works with our Printer Server and an internet connection, without a PC.
You can choose printing options and customize tickets through the API.

The Printer Server is automatically sending printing requests, without your intervention

If you choose the automatic mode in your module / Expedy Dashboard, your printer will receive a printing request and will start printing as soon as an order is made on your Prestashop by one customer ! This printing option is often used by restaurants as they need to prepare orders as fast as possible and don't need to accept orders anymore, saving time.

If you have a ecommerce shop, you can also choose to print your orders when you are ready to prepare / send them. You can send the printing requests wherever you are, from your smartphone/tablet/computer. You don't need to physically connect your printers to your computer anymore as the Printer Server is sending requests through the cloud.

Your orders are centralized in our Dashboard so you can print your picklist to prepare your orders (no more Excel files !) and your shipping labels from the same place.

The aim of this module is to give you more time and more flexibility to do your job well. You don't need any particular IT knowledge to make it work.


Customize your tickets with your shop's information in 1 minute

In just a few clicks, and without any trouble, you can change the layout by default of all tickets by adding :

  • your logo,
  • the name of your shop,
  • legal information (address, phone number, email, id, etc)

You can also select other printing options :
  • print 1, 2 or 3 thermal tickets depending on your needs
  • print the same ticket on two different printers (for example one for the kitchen and one for the delivery guy),
  • add a phone number so you can receive a notification when a new ticket is being printed
  • etc.

All details of an order can be printed, whether they are coming from native Prestashop database or from your other modules.


Customize tickets for your company thanks to the API

The Expedy Print module is open source and can be modified to suit your needs. You can change the layout of what is being printed, and add for example texts, qr codes and images.

If you need to print other types of documents, your developer can use the API to do so.

The module can be changed by using several IT languages (PHP, JavaScript, Java, Python, Ruby...) in the Expedy Dashboard. You can print test tickets from it too.

Installatie

How to install it:

  • Download the Expedy Print module for Prestashop
  • In your Prestashop Dashboard, in the "Modules" section, click on "Add a new module" or "Install a module"
  • Upload it
  • The module is uploaded
  • You can now change its parameters

  • API PARAMETERS

    SID
    API key is available in your Expedy Dashboard in the "API" section.
    If you don't have your access, contact our support.

    TOKEN
    Secret Key only available in your Expedy Dashboard in the "API" section.

    PRINTER ID
    Unique Identification Number (UID) of the printer visible in your Expedy Dashboard in the "Imprimantes" (printer) section.
    Example : WP0RGS1SEDZ (don't use the symbol #)

    MODEL
    This is the type of printer you have according to its paper roll size
    Examples : PP-58EWG (58mm) - PP-80EWG (80mm) - KIT-B-BP1 (108mm)

    AUTO-CUT
    This option is available on some models of cloud printers, so check the product's description (not available on "MINI" models and 100mm).
    It allows the printer to automatically cut the paper at the end of the printing process.


    PRINTING OPTIONS

    INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOP
    To print the logo at the top of the receipt, use the URL of logo hosted on internet
    (Be careful : the URL must be in HTTPS)

    DETAILS ABOUT EACH PRODUCT
    You can choose among several options to show the level of details about each item according to what you need (references, attritubes...)

    SUM
    Choose if you want to print totals, with or without VAT

    PRINT AUTOMATICALLY
    Choose if you want to print : all new orders, "paid" orders, by type of payment, etc.

    COPIES
    Number of copies you want to be printed (1 to 3)

    SMS NOTIFICATIONS
    Notification by SMS for each new order (small additional fees)

    Multi printers / Marketplace

    You can add more than one Printer Point's printer to your Prestashop website.

    If you have more than one store, you can decide for example to send the receipt to prepare the order to the London shop (LONDON01) thanks to the printer AA001 and not to the Edinburgh shop (EDINB002) connected to the printer AA002.

    Aanbeveling

    This Prestashop module is made to work with Expedy Print's cloud printing solutions connected to a Prestashop website and other ecommerce platforms.

    NB : Your Prestashop should be set on a regular setting with a SSL installed, you can't use the "dev" or "debug" modes as they prevent the transfer of requests towards the API and therefore prevent the Printer Server to send printing requests to printers.
