In order to increase security and simplicity, we are implementing a single authentication system. Therefore, signing in with PayPal won’t be possible on our marketplace, from April 2nd on. Read morearrow_right_alt

To continue to access your personal space on PrestaShop Addons, we simply invite you to reset your password as of now by clicking on the link below.

You will receive a new password allowing you to directly sign in to your Addons account, without using PayPal. Once logged in, you will be able to change this password in your personal space.

Your Addons account will not be affected in any way by this development.

CONTROL OF THE AGE OF THE USER

Activate the age control of the user according to the date of birth which he informs during the creation of his account. You can set the minimum age according to the regulations of your country. If the age indicated by the customer is not valid, he will not be able to create an account on your shop.

DATA RECORDING AND CONSENT

Ask for the consent of your customers before any registration of their data.

The request for consent can be done on the following forms:
  • Contact form
  • Account Creation Form
  • Registration form to the newsletter (module developed by Prestashop)
  • Product availability alert form (module developed by Prestashop)

For each of the forms, you can view the consent request in different ways:
  • A checkbox
  • A confirmation window (fancybox)

At any time you can view all consent requests from your control panel.

DOWNLOAD USER DATA

Offer your customers the ability to automatically access all the data attached to their account as required by the regulations.

You do not have to manage the requests of your customers. They can directly download a .pdf file containing all the data concerning them from their customer area.

DELETION OF USER DATA (BY CUSTOMER)

Give your customers the possibility to delete their own account via a new section available in their customer area. The account deletion is immediate after the customer request.

In addition to accessing the account that is deleted, all data attached to it is deleted as well. This includes orders, baskets, connections, etc.

Note that it is possible to configure the list of order statuses that block the deletion of an account by the customer (especially for orders that are being processed).

DELETION OF USER DATA (BY THE MERCHANT)

You have the option to delete the accounts found to be inactive after a deadline as provided by the new regulations.

You can do this by declaring an inactive account after a certain number of days in the module configuration. Inactivity is based on connections, past orders, or changing customer information.

Deletion can be done manually (via a button) or automatically through a cron job.

It is possible to send a notification of deletion of a customer account by email X days before the final deletion. The customer can if he wishes to keep his account by clicking on the link in the email.

We recommend that you back up your database before manual or automatic deletion.

OTHER OPTIONS

Being not present and yet fundamentally necessary, the module allows you to display the request for acceptance of the general conditions of your shop at the time of creation of the customer account through a mandatory checkbox (checkbox).

You can directly view the terms and conditions (attached to a CMS page) in a visible inset by the customer before he or she registers on your store.
