Necessary update of your password on PrestaShop Addons

Hello,

You are currently the holder of an Addons account created from your Paypal account, which allows you to connect to our marketplace.

In order to increase security and simplicity, we are implementing a single authentication system. Therefore, signing in with PayPal won’t be possible on our marketplace, from April 2nd on. Read morearrow_right_alt

To continue to access your personal space on PrestaShop Addons, we simply invite you to reset your password as of now by clicking on the link below.

You will receive a new password allowing you to directly sign in to your Addons account, without using PayPal. Once logged in, you will be able to change this password in your personal space.

Your Addons account will not be affected in any way by this development.

This module allows you, when creating employees directly at the Back-Office level, to be able to send the employee the connection information for their account.
After defining the email address of your employee, the module offers you these following options:
1.Send mail
However, it should also be noted that you can easily send your employee an email with these login accesses to your store. This email will therefore contain a password reset link that will allow your employee to define his own password to log in.
To do this, you must first activate the Send Mail option in the module's configuration panel.
2.Generate employee password
The module allows you to send a password link to the employee in a secure way. Thanks to this link, the employee can define his own password.
 
NB : However, if you need to make changes to an existing employee account, you will have to deactivate this Send Mail option so as not to have to repeat the action of sending a password reset link.

Raccomandazione

We strongly recommend avoiding general purpose accounts with shared access that anyone can use. Indeed, having one account per employee allows you to keep track of who did what on your store.
NB : If this is a temporary access, for a support request, a trainee, an employee, once the operation is complete, do not forget to delete or deactivate the account created.
