Necessary update of your password on PrestaShop Addons

Hello,

You are currently the holder of an Addons account created from your Paypal account, which allows you to connect to our marketplace.

In order to increase security and simplicity, we are implementing a single authentication system. Therefore, signing in with PayPal won’t be possible on our marketplace, from April 2nd on. Read morearrow_right_alt

To continue to access your personal space on PrestaShop Addons, we simply invite you to reset your password as of now by clicking on the link below.

You will receive a new password allowing you to directly sign in to your Addons account, without using PayPal. Once logged in, you will be able to change this password in your personal space.

Your Addons account will not be affected in any way by this development.

The module allows you to add some advanced features on the customer login and registration page. It helps to enhance the functionality of login and registration page & even help to address the security concern of customer very well.

There are various advanced options that come with this module. The customer will not be able to login for certain period of time if multiple failed login attempt is detected for his/her account.

To increase the security of the account, you can also set the time after which the customer will be able to reset the password of the account. Add google reCAPTCHA form on the login and registration page.

Allow your customer to choose a strong password at the time of registration. Display the strength of the password on the customer registration page through a colour bar indicator.

Q: Can I restrict customers from logging in after multiple login attempts?
A: Yes, you can set the maximum number of failed login attempts allowed for the customer. After exhausting the limit, the customer will be restricted from logging in up to set a number of minutes.

Q: Does the module allow to notify customers on detection of multiple failed logins?
A: Yes, the customer is notified via mail after a set number of the failed login attempt is detected.

Q: In how many ways login to the customer account is available with the module?
A: There are two ways in which a customer can log in to the account. First is by email, password & another method is by using OTP.

Q: Would I be able to add reCaptcha form on every login & registration page available on the store?
A: Yes, you can add reCaptcha form on customer log in/registration page & admin login page.

Position – Inside Login Form with id=”login_form”, After Password field
