If you are running an online store, it is inevitable that you have to deal with a certain degree of product exchanges and cancellations. Customers exchanges or cancels the products online more often than in brick-and-mortar stores as they don't get to try or examine the product before making the purchase.
Even your most loyal customers will exchange or cancel the products purchased due to some reasons. Common reasons for product exchange or cancellation in an eCommerce store are the fit issues, product no longer needed, found a product at a better price elsewhere, etc.
Post-purchase, if your customers discover they cannot exchange or cancel the products, they will be dissatisfied, never purchase from you again, and likely spread the word about it to their peers.
Prestashop Order Exchange/Cancellation can help you overcome this problem. Facilitate your store customers to raise exchange or cancellation requests right from their accounts with ease.
Exchange/Cancellation Process Simplified
If a customer is not satisfied with the purchase, he can go to the order details page, click on the "PROCESS REQUEST" button and create a request.
In case of cancellation, select the product quantity to cancel and specify the reason to submit the request. And, to exchange the product, select the quantity of products to exchange and products to exchange with the previously ordered product.
Easily Manage Requests
Handle all the requests placed by customers for product exchange or cancellation from a separate "Exchange/cancel" tab. You can view, accept, cancel, or delete the requests.
Seamless Checkout Process
Post-installation, an additional payment option "Pay with Wallet" gets available for customers. Customers can easily add money into the wallet and use it for making online transactions.
The customers don't have to enter the credentials, then wait for OTP each time they need to buy from the store. Also, the product amount inclusive of taxes is refunded to the customer's wallet once you accept the cancellation request.
