Don't let your customers view out of stock product combinations. Automatically change default product combination if the quantity of current default goes to zero. Also, restore previous default combination as current default once it is in stock.

PrestaShop Change Default Combination When Out of Stock module is compatible with framework version 8.x.x and multi-store feature.

If you are running an eCommerce store with a large number of products, managing stock of different product variations can be difficult sometimes.

In default Prestashop, you have to go through each product page for updating the default product combinations whey they become out of stock. Changing default combinations of multiple products one by one can be a time-consuming process.

This extension can help you overcome this problem. This extension automatically changes the default product combination when it gets out of stock and set a new default combination. In this way, your customers will not see an out of stock product combination when they visit your product page.

You can choose to set a new default combination when the current default goes out of stock based on one of the following criteria.

First in stock
Highest Quantity
Lowest Quantity
Highest Price
Lowest Price
Best Selling Combination

Whenever a default combination becomes out of stock, its record gets created under a separate “Default Combination Listing” tab in the back office. Now, you can see all the out of stock combinations under a single tab and arrange their stocks accordingly. Once the default combination is back in stock, then the module automatically restores it as the current default combination.

Default combinations of the products on which you have enabled allow orders(backorders) will also change when out of stock.

This plugin will save you countless hours of updating the default combination of individual products.

Choose to set a default combination from all combinations or similar combinations.
Set a combination with the highest or lowest quantity as a new default combination.
Set the most expensive or least expensive combination as a new default product combination.
Option to set the best selling combination as a new default combination.
Restore the previous default combination as the current default combination once it is back in stock.
Change the default combination of a product even if allow orders is enabled.
Choose to automatically update default combination when it goes out of stock or not.
Admin can choose to update the default combination by cron.

Ans. Yes, the default combination can be changed through CRON when it goes out of stock. Admin will need to set CRON job for this.

Q. Is there any way to revert back the default combination which was set previously on that product?

Ans. Yes, admin can do the same in the configuration of the module by enabling restore previous default combination.

Q. Can we set a similar kind of attributes as default in case of default product combination is out of stock?

Ans. Yes, while configuring the module, admin can select whether a new default combination will be set from similar combinations or all combinations.

Q. Is there any way by which we can change the default combination for the out of stock product’s default combination before installing module?
