Overview

The module adds a block containing a tag cloud, with full SEO support (SEO friendly URL support, meta keywords, meta description, html title, and first SEO paragraph) & separate tags page. 

What this product does for you

 Advanced Tags is a SEO-oriented module that steps upon the core product tagging functionality of PrestaShop and extends it to a complete new level of SEO-optimization - keywords centered optmization based on tags. As a result your site will get more traffic from the search engines.

  • Supports setting of a html title for every tag and language - added as a prefix to the site name (Default: tagname - sitename)

Installation

 You can upload the module via the administration panel or via FTP
Client.
Uploading the module via the administration panel (PrestaShop 1.4):
  • Back Office » Modules, click on the “ Add a module from my computer” link.
  • From the “Add a new module” block, “Module file” panel (right) click “Browse”, select the module .zip file and click the “Upload this module” button.
Uploading the module via the administration panel (PrestaShop 1.5 &
1.6):
  • Back Office » Modules » Modules, click on the “Add new module” icon.
  • From the “Add a new module” block click “Browse” (“Choose a file” in 1.6), select the module .zip file and click the “Upload this module” button.
  • After successful upload you will receive the message “The module was downloaded successfully.“
Uploading the module via FTP Client (PrestaShop 1.4, 1.5 & 1.6):
  • Unzip the .zip file of the module and upload it's content into the “modules” folder.

Installing the module (PrestaShop 1.4, 1.5 & 1.6):
  • Click on the “Install” button in the right side of the module row. 
  • You will receive a message “Module(s) installed successfully.“
