Installation for boths modules are fast and easy. Just follow this steps.
First of all I will recommend you to move your ads account to Business Manager since you will need it to create the Product Catalogues, this way you won't have any confusion by having two advertising accounts.
Enter http://business.facebook.com and follow the steps there. It's easy and well explained.
First, go to the top menú in Facebook Business Manager and select Pixels:
- If you already have a Pixel you will find the Id on the right part of the screen.
- If you don't have a pixel a wizard will pop guiding you step by step. Once created you just need the number (pixel ID)
Now copy the ID and paste it to the Pixel Plus configuration page.
Select the events to track. You can leave them all activated if you want since you will have more flexible options for ads and for optimization in the near future.
Add any custom page to track if you want / need any.

Go to business manager. And repeat this steps for every shop and language you want to use.
1.1 Create a product catalogue
1.2 In the configuration choose recurrent update
1.3 Go to the module configuration screen. There you will see the URL for each Feed, select and copy the one you want.
1.4 Paste it in the Feed configuration URL.
1.5 Choose an upload time. Here I will recommend you to choose a low traffic hour, for example 1:00 am or 2:00am, since this way the catalogue will have a better data.
1.7 Now look for the Prodcut Catalogue ID in the top, copy and paste it in the module box.
Repeat those steps for every Shop and Language you have in your shop.
2 Images in Facebook recommended size
Images in Facebook recommended size. This only needs to be done once to generate all the images for the existing products. New products will create the image automatically.
2.1 Go to Preferences > Images. Scroll down until you find Regenerate thumbnails.
2.2 Choose Product and then fpf_image.
2.3 Click on generate. (this may take a while depending on your product catalogue size)
3 Generating the Product Feeds for the first time
The module has a button to manually generate the feed, the first time I'd recommend you to generate it manually as errors may show after generating the catalogue.
If there is an error the product will be skipped but the catalogue will still be generated.
4 Setting the Cron job
The Cron Job is a task executed by the server periodically. After setting the Cron Job the Product catalogue to be updated automatically. In the module you will find a detailed instructions of how to configure it.
Don't scare! It isn't hard at all.
