You are currently the holder of an Addons account created from your Paypal account, which allows you to connect to our marketplace.

In order to increase security and simplicity, we are implementing a single authentication system. Therefore, signing in with PayPal won’t be possible on our marketplace, from April 2nd on. Read morearrow_right_alt

Options, Fees and Discounts module allows you to add and manage options, additional fees, taxes and discounts (processing fees, insurances, fees by payment method, fees by zipcode, fees by carrier, rush order, taxes) to your clients' orders.

Examples :
  • Processing fee can vary depending on a product, a product category
  • Insurances can vary depending on a product, a carrier
 
Fees can be displayed to the customer or added to the shipping costs.
 
Options (or Fees), if you decide to display them, appear in order, in cart, in customer's account (order detail) and all documents (mail, invoice, PDFs).
 
Uses cases
Below are showed, a few examples of use cases of Options, Fees and Discounts :
 
For options :
  • Add insurance to all orders, selectable in shopping cart
  • Add mandatory and product-specific insurance to all orders
  • Add a $10.00 "Rush Order" option if postal codes start with 13, 34 and 66
  • Add a "Donate" option for a charity to all orders
  • Add $20.00 "home installation" option for orders with products from Tyres category and less than $300.00
 
For fees (or discounts) :
  • Apply fees to all orders
  • Apply 3% fees for orders paid by Paypal, Cash On Delivery or Bitcoin HD
  • Apply  $10.00 charge if postal codes start with 13, 34 and 66
  • Apply fees for orders less than $100.00
  • Add $20.00 in shipping costs for orders with products from Tyres category and less than $300.00
  • Applying fees to a specific category of products
  • Applying fees by carrier
  • Applying Environmental Handling Fee (EHF), environmental fee
