What are the PrestaShop Awards?

We've organized the Awards to recognize those contributors who are developing high-quality modules that are useful to all PrestaShop merchants.

The goal of the competition is to choose the best modules in
the following 8 categories:

  • Best module for generating the most traffic

  • Best module for optimizing conversion rates

  • Best module innovation

  • Best module for productivity

  • Best module for increase the average cart value

  • Best module for navigation

  • Best module for building customer loyalty

  • Best module elected by e-merchants

Each contributor can enter 1-2 modules in the categories of their choice to try to win an Award.
There's only one rule: the modules entered for the Awards must be compatible with PrestaShop 1.6 and 1.7 and have passed the validator.

This contest is open to all modules already available in PrestaShop Addons, as well as to new modules (as long as they have received technical and marketing approval from the Addons team).
The contest will be open November 12 to December 7. Award winners will be announced by email on January 8, 2019.

Why should I participate?

Everyone's got a chance: there will be ads on the PrestaShop Addons home page for the 20 best modules in each category.

Winners of the PrestaShop Addons Awards will get:

  • A trophy

  • Visibility in the Addons Home Page in EVERY country for 6 weeks!

  • A "Best Module 2019" badge on the module's product page for 12 months

  • An interview with a merchant who uses your module, published on our blog


If you win an Award in a category, you'll be able to:

Winning an award is proof of reliability and performance that you can display to all of your visitors, to more easily make them your customers.

All developers, agencies, and freelancers who want to start to sell on our marketplace, along with everyone who already has a seller account on PrestaShop Addons, are welcome to participate in the Awards.

How to win?

Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, and will be notified on January 8, 2019. Modules will be analyzed by the PrestaShop Addons marketing team and developers. Each module will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Presentation

Be convincing! When you submit your module, explain to us how it facilitates (or revolutionizes) merchant life.

2. Marketing

  • Features offered by the module

  • Quality of screenshots and documentation

  • High-quality and easy to understand product page

3. Technique

  • Quality of the code and proper use of the validation tool.

  • Comments

  • Quality of the user experience (UX – UI): simplicity of configuration

4. Customer review over last year

  • Module's number of sales

  • Quality: Conformity of the service with its description

  • Utilization: Service ease-of-use

  • Content: Usability of the service content

  • Satisfaction: recommendation in a third party
