PrestaShop SA Company was founded in 2007 by two people passionate about the Internet, Igor Schlumberger and Bruno Lévêque. PrestaShop was born from their joint willingness to make e-commerce more accessible. PrestaShop SA is composed of a team of 20 collaborators working on the 4 major projects of the company.

PrestaShop SA edits the website PrestaShop Addons.com since June 2009. PrestaShop Addons.com is the official marketplace for the PrestaShop solution. Modules, themes, logos and document adapted to the PrestaShop software can be found on the website. These products enable the merchants to add features, or simply personalize their PrestaShop store. The PrestaShop Addons.com website and the modules sold by PrestaShop SA are managed by developers at the heart of the PrestaShop solution guaranteeing a quality level equal to the one the PrestaShop solution. Each module sold on PrestaShop Addons has been tested and validated by the PrestaShop team. All the products offered by PrestaShop Addons are regularly updated in order to satisfy the needs of our users and to respect the strictest security standards mainly those regarding banking transactions.

Prestabox

PrestaShop SA edits the website PrestaBox.com since October 2009. PrestaBox.com is addressed to merchants who want a solution for a complete online shop. PrestaBox offers to merchants the preinstalled solution PrestaShop, a quality hosting, a technical maintenance and shop updates of the last stable versions of the PrestaShop solution. PrestaShop SA aims at making the creation of an online shop, the simplest as possible for merchants with no particular technical knowledge. PrestaShop SA Training Organisation

PrestaShop SA is a training organisation. PrestaShop SA follows professionals for setting up the PrestaShop platform for themselves or their clients. PrestaShop SA offers three trainings regarding their profile and their skills to develop. A development training in order to increase their knowledge on the functioning of the heart of PrestaShop. An Integration training in order to master the setting up of a graphical model considering the technologic specificities of PrestaShop. And a user training which presents the complete use of PrestaShop from a functional perspective.

Nomination

In December 2009, the Ecommerce-guide.com ranked PrestaShop at the 7th place in the world for Open source e-commerce softwares, ranking this e-commerce solution as the one that most progress ever made in a year within this ranking. PrestaShop has also been nominated amongst the 20 most innovating Open-source start-ups in the Open World Forum in 2009 in Paris.
